Step into the world of a small brewery!

EXPLORING THE BREWERY

Our guide will take you through the Antwerp Brewing Company! No museum, no flashy animated screens or videos, but a close-up discovery of what really happens in a brewery. Your host is an experienced beer expert who will share the fascinating story of the brewery, the history of beer in Antwerp, and explain everything about brewing—from malting to fermentation. Proudly, they will also introduce the different beers!

Guided Tour

Group tours can be booked for groups starting from 8 people*. Each guide can accommodate a maximum of 20 people. Smaller groups can be combined into one tour (e.g., 2 groups of 8).

The guide will take you through the active brewery and tell you all about the history of brewing in Antwerp, our brewery, and show you up close how we brew beer in a real brewery.

A tasting of the beer that started it all, Seefbier, is included in the tour.

Duration: approximately 1 hour.

The cost of a tour is €14 per person.

You can book your visit directly in the calendar below.

A Few Practical Points/ The small Print

  • Group Size: Tours can only be booked by appointment for a minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 20 per group (for practical reasons). For larger groups, two tours/guides need to be booked. Tours can also be arranged for groups smaller than 8 for a base fee of €112.
  • Booking: Tours can ONLY be booked via the form above. If you need an invoice, please indicate this in the booking under ‘comments’ and include the necessary billing information. Requests for invoices after booking will incur a €25 administration fee.
  • Attendance Confirmation: The guide will check upon arrival that the number of attendees matches the booking. If there are more visitors, the additional cost must be settled with the guide before the tour starts.
  • Late Arrivals: The guide comes specifically for your visit. If you are unexpectedly running late, please notify us at 03.293.91.84 (forwarded to the brewery café) so the guide knows you’re on your way. If you are more than 20 minutes late without notice, the guide will assume the tour is canceled and leave. Since the guide is there specifically for you, missed tours will not be refunded.
  • Cancellations and Refunds: Refunds are only possible for cancellations made at least one week before the tour. No refunds will be issued after that.
  • Pet Policy: You are visiting a real, active brewery. Due to food safety regulations, pets (including service dogs) are not allowed. Since the primary function of the site is food production, we must adhere strictly to this policy.
  • Production Days: On weekdays, we may be in full production. This provides a unique view of a working brewery, but there may be some limitations during the visit for safety reasons. We appreciate your understanding and adherence to the guide’s instructions.
  • Accessibility: The brewery café is accessible for wheelchair users (including adapted restrooms). However, the brewing platform is accessed via stairs and is not wheelchair accessible, though it is visible from below.
  • Transportation: Our beers are delicious… very delicious! We recommend using public transport or arranging for a designated driver. Tram 24 stops right in front of the brewery, and there is a bike rental station nearby. If you come by train to Antwerp, you can rent a bike to get to the brewery.
