Enter the world of a small Brewery!

EXPLORING THE BREWERY

Our guide will take you on a journey through the Antwerpse Brouw Compagnie brewery! This isn’t a museum, nor are there flashy animation screens and videos—here, you’ll discover up close how things really work in a brewery. Your host is an experienced beer expert who will guide you through the fascinating story of the brewery, the history of beer in Antwerp, and everything about beer brewing—from malting to fermentation. They will also proudly introduce you to the various beers we offer!

Guided Tour

For groups of 8 or more, a group tour can be booked. Each guide can accommodate up to 20 people. Smaller groups can be combined into one tour (e.g., 2 groups of 8 people).

The guide will take you through the active brewery, sharing everything about the history of brewing in Antwerp, our brewery, and giving you an up-close look at how we brew beer in the real brewery.

A tasting of the beer that started it all, Seefbier, is also included in the tour.

Duration: approximately 1 hour.

The cost of a tour is €14 per person.

You can directly book your visit using the calendar below.

*The tour can also be given to groups smaller than 8. The base cost of the tour is €112.*

A Few Practical Points/ The small Print

  • Group Size and Booking: Tours by appointment can only be booked for a minimum of 8 people, with a maximum of 20 people per group (due to practical reasons). For larger groups, 2 tours/guides need to be booked. Tours can also be arranged for fewer than 8 people for a base fee of €112.
  • Booking Procedure: Tours can ONLY be booked through the form above. If you require an invoice, please include this request in the ‘comments’ section of the booking, along with the necessary invoicing details. If you request an invoice afterward, a €25 administrative fee will apply.
  • Group Size Verification: The guide will verify the number of attendees upon arrival. If there are more visitors than booked, the additional cost must be settled with the guide before the tour starts.
  • Late Arrival: The guide comes specifically for your visit. If you are unexpectedly running late, please inform us at 03.293.91.84 (transferred to the brewery café) so the guide knows you are on your way. If you are more than 20 minutes late without notification, the guide will assume the tour is canceled and leave. Since the guide is dedicated to your visit, missed tours will not be refunded.
  • Cancellations and Refunds: Refunds are only possible for cancellations made at least 1 week before the tour. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within a week of the tour.
  • Animal Policy: As you are visiting an active brewery, pets, including guide dogs, are not allowed due to food safety regulations (FAVV). Since the main function of the site is food production, strict adherence to this policy is required.
  • Production Activities: On weekdays, the brewery may be in full production. This offers a unique view of a working brewery but may include some restrictions for safety reasons. We appreciate your understanding and adherence to the guide’s instructions.
  • Accessibility: The brewery café is accessible for wheelchair users (including adapted sanitary facilities). However, the brewing platform is only accessible by stairs and is not wheelchair accessible, though it can be viewed from below.
  • Transport Recommendations: Our beers are delicious… very delicious! We recommend using public transport or arranging a designated driver. Tram 24 stops near the brewery, and there is a Velopunt at the brewery. If you are arriving by train, you can rent a bike to reach the brewery.
